We apply Dulux Weathershield systems with full substrate prep, salt-residue washdowns where needed, and primers matched to brick, render, weatherboard, or fibre cement. For the Eastern Suburbs and Lower North Shore Federation and Victorian homes, we work to heritage-appropriate preparation standards and colour matching.
Inside, Sydney’s humidity creates its own challenges, particularly in bathrooms, laundries, and kitchens where mould can re-emerge if the surface isn’t properly prepped. Do I need to move my furniture before the painters arrive?
No. Under the Upscale Painting Not-a-Scratch Guarantee, our team moves and protects all furniture, fixtures, and flooring before any painting begins. Larger items are centralised under canvas drop sheets, flooring is covered with drop sheets and canvas runners on high-traffic paths, and every fixture is taped and masked. We photograph each room before we start so everything can be returned to exactly where you left it. If we damage anything in the process, we replace it.
How quickly can you start a job in Sydney?
In some circumstances we can start next day after a quote has been accepted. Speak to Esmayel to confirm our current availability. In terms of typical timeframes, we usually start within 1 week of quote acceptance.
Do you use eco-friendly or low-VOC paints?
Yes. Upscale Painting & Decorating uses low-VOC and low-odour Dulux paint systems wherever the project allows, particularly important for interior work, occupied homes, schools, healthcare facilities, and aged care environments. We’re a Dulux Accredited Painter, which gives us access to the full Dulux Envirosolutions range.
